There is plenty on offer within The Legends of Mernac. But what you need to know is this site suitable for all ages? The answer is No this site is not suitable for all ages. Mernac is aimed at Adults Only, as it may contain content related to violence or of a sexual nature in its fantasy world that is not suitable for children.

Now if you’re a Reader, Writer, Artist or Musician, Programmer, Game Developer, or a Film maker, you can start here and it is highly recommended that you register. As the site is still currently free.

Then you ask where do I go from there? Well it is recommended that no matter what you wish to do you start by reading the first tales. Which start with On Being a Leader, from there it is suggested that you read The Battle of Traddlebow Saga. Yes a lot of the tales are Works In Progress and some are To Be Written. But it does give you a great way of discovering what The Legends of Mernac is all about. The Battle of Traddlebow is also a prime example of the Open Source Creativity of the site.

Where to from there? Now that depends entirely on yourself. You have a myriad of choices now in front of you. If you have joined as a Reader Only, then you will need to follow the interconnectedness of our tales within The Legends of Mernac. This is achieved through scrolling to the bottom of the page. You will see The Next Tale is highlighted. It is really that simple, you could also make yourself familiar with Navigating Chapters. There is also the Guide to Writing (and reading) Characters, that you may wish to pursue.

Now if you are so inclined you may want to read the Interview with The Legends of Mernac’s founder Rick Merriman. After all if it was not for Ricks inspiration The Legends of Mernac would not have been created. There is also the ImagineFX Interview to read.

By now I am guessing that your feeling a little overwhelmed with all the web browsers that you have opened. So I suggest you close some and take a look into the the forums to investigate what some of the other members of Mernac are talking about. Now don’t fuss and worry. We at The Legends of Mernac are a very Welcoming bunch of Characters. Read our interactions with each other and have a little chuckle, I’m betting a Mernal that you will. Speaking of which you may wish to Tip an Artist or Scribe. No I do not mean pushing them over either. Lol. Do leave an introduction, and yes we will more than likely swamp you with our diatribes. But really we do not bite, its only some of our characters that tend to take a little nip or two.

The next step would be to explore the Places that all our characters reside within. We all have a place called home, so why not the world of Fantasy. From there we travel to Lore, what is the Lore of these characters and importantly what are their Legends. Also we all use Items in our daily lives, regardless of the world that we come from. The Legends of Mernac are no different, so here you find out about the Items that we use.

If your not too overwhelmed and still interested in pursuing the site, the aptly named page, The Dragon will further guide you. Press releases, Announcements and the like are housed in this library.

Now if you are indeed interested in becoming one of our valued members. The How To’s is the best place to go. Here you will find all you need to know about becoming a scribe, disciple (Which I am looking for as well!), artist, web programmer and the like. These How To’s are essential reading to anyone wishing to contribute the Open Source Creativity of the site.

By now you should be feeling a bit more welcome and familiar with the site. That is at least the hope, if not and you have some questions please find one of our longer standing members and they will be more than willing to provide you with some direction. There are a multitude to choose from. Might I suggest the following Members. All of the characters, scribes mentioned are an integral part of the site and they all contribute in their own ways. Skill levels vary from person to person, but for the most they will all help you with direction on the site.

Now I would like to point out that we also have advertising chances within The Legends of Mernac. If you are interested in Purchase Advertising on Mernac Stories, this is what you need to read. Mernacian scribes and bloggers also have avenues that can be explored through sponsorship of their tales. Please read How to Sell Blog Ads on Mernac. Finally there is the Sponsorship of Tales with The Legends of Mernac. Yes, we as writers, authors, artists and musicians all would like to some revenue coming in from our work. So why not look into Sponsoring within The Legends of Mernac. I’m sure we all would appreciate it. The experience is two fold, it helps our writers and you.
